They don't make stuff like they used too.
I was hoovering out the car today and was thinking how long I had had my Vax vacuum cleaner. Worked out i bought it second hand in 1993. So around 28 years old
It's lasting well even though I use it weekly. Our cheap Daewoo fridge freezer is from 2005. Nothing else has lasted as well . What electrical items do you have, that have lasted the test of time . |

A kenwood mini chef 45 years old and the Bosch tumble dryer is I think pushing 20.
We also inherited an old hoover upright which works a treat but we have run out of bags for it. |

A cheap $3 clock which we bought from K-Mart on our first trip to Florida in !984. Still goes on every Orlando holiday with us. The room radio alarms are far too bright and keep me awake!

My mum bought me a snoopy children’s hairdryer when I went to boarding school. That hairdryer will be 30 this year! It has a child lock on but is still going strong, I’ll be devastated when it dies. That and a toy sheep are the only things I still have from childhood
My GHD’s are probably nearly 15 years old, but I think they are on the blink My husbands corsa is 21 this year and won’t die. We have saddles and the like that are ancient and are still in brilliant condition

My Samsung tv I bought in 2007 is doing quite well. I hope I haven’t jinxed it.😬 And my boiler - though it has its moments and needed repairing. That’s 18 year old ish. So not doing bad either.
