Don’t know if it’s relevant but I start sneezing almost as soon as I put a mask on. It’s a right pain! I do wash them every time I’ve worn one and never use same one twice. Obviously I’m reacting to something which doesn’t usually bother me.

By the way, I assume you didn't have any colds to note of before 23rd December? Or, at least, you've not had colds every other week like you've done since then?

So it's only since that date that you've had this issue?

Did anything change around that time? Did you introduce something new into the house, like new pillows, new furniture, new pet, Christmas tree, or anything? If so, then perhaps its that?

I have an allergy to cats (and a very occassional one to some flower pollen) and I find an allergy is quite different to a cold. I can tell the difference. With cats or pollen, my eyes will be itchy and water, I'll sneeze quite a bit and my nose runs. Whereas with colds, I get headaches, sore throat, coughs, back and joint aches, stuffed-up nose and runny nose, a bit of a temperature, etc. There's a bit of overlap but they are different.

I don't know how you caught it but I do know at the nursery I work at its been so different since covid with the lack of runny noses and coughs etc. In normal times I was forever wiping noses but the only time I have to now is when new children are a little upset as they have just started.

This is me and I cough, it looks bad when I’m out coughing!
