this is the last time for a while, pre-trippy April 2013

Cast :
Helen (me)- 41 (turns 42 whilst we’re out there eeek)- chief planner and peace maker, favourite character is Tinkerbelle.
Dh- Stu- 47- golfer, pro shopper and avid Liverpool supporter, favourite character is goofy.


Dd1- Tara- 14 (wow) (tinkerbells on the dibb)- helping me write this report, teenager with sas, shopaholic and ‘’moody’’ according to dd2. Favourite character is Minnie mouse.
Dd2- Jodie- 10 (going on 20)- very talented in the kitchen, all round Disney lover. She has no favourite character as she loves them all equally.



plan of attack-
We are flying out from Birmingham international on the 4th April 2013 with Thomson’s, after being impressed with premium economy with them in 2010 Tara persuaded me to book premium again (this girl is clever). We are staying at Floridays on international drive after previously staying here in 2010 and loving it! My husband has taken the dicisson to drive for the 3rd year in a row and we will be collecting the car from the airport so there’s no need for airport transfers. We have magic your way- 5 day tickets and we are also planning to go to Clearwater beach on my birthday which is during the second week and to see a baseball match one day. We are flying home on the 18th april and arrive back in Birmingham on the 19th. We have an ADR for sci-fi diner on day 6 and a ADR for the plaza (magic kingdom) on the final night.
Here we go again-
This is all our 7th time in Orlando and every time we say "this is the last time for a while” (hence the title) but the whole thought of just lying by the pool for 2 weeks does not appeal to any of us, so here we are again. We fell in love with Orlando after my parents took the whole family for new year’s in 2006/2007 and have been coming back every year since.
With less than 30 days to go we have sorted out pretty much everything. We are still shopping for clothes for the girls to take and bikinis for Tara.
We have a little over $1000 and a credit card to take with us plus the girls have their own savings which we still need to change into dollars for them to take. Tara is an excellent spender (especially on pointless rubbish) so she is panicking due to the lack of money compared to what Jodie has to take, but I’m sure their grandparents will give them a little extra to take.
Well that’s really it for now I think.

Hi Wishing you a magical holiday. I totally agree with you about laying a sunbed for 2 weeks... Orlando is the only way to go!
