I work in retail I’ve done catering and was a catering manager I also did bar work when the children were young as I could only do evenings due to lack of childcare in the day.

I am the Community Engagement Coordinator for a local setting of a large charity.
My job covers volunteering, marketing and communications and fundraising/funding.

In the past before I had children I worked for the Office for National Statistics. I had several jobs over the 10 years I was there including the Press Office and HR.

When I left school I was a Butcher , I had helped out in the Butcher shop down the road where two of my older brothers worked . I discovered I had Haemophilia when I was eighteen , so all the cuts etc were a major problem . I came out of Butchery and started working at Beecham Pharmaceutical , producing injectable Antibiotics . After twenty two years on shift I dropped down to working days , Monday to Friday . I carried on for another fourteen and a half years thermal mapping the plants and Autoclaves for the Validation team . By now the company was GSK , I was made redundant at the end of October unfortunately .

I work in corporate consulting. I've done all sorts:

I've revamped the loyalty scheme for a large airline
I've been on the rigs after the Oil Spill in Louisiana
Managed the merger of two very large insurance companies systems
Spent more time in planes than offices some years

Now I've settled down and I still do the same stuff but only from home, I hadn't left my home office for 2 years before lockdown started, now its 3 years without doing any work except for in the study in the house

I am a qualified solicitor and also a Crown Court Advocate ( barrister equivalent ). I also have a Masters - MBA and PRINCE 2 Practitioners quals and was a very senior manager in the public sector. I retired at 50.

However Im bored, really bored and want to work 1 day a week in an office somewhere ( Ive said this for the past 5 years )
