East - Cocoa, Daytona, etc
wind swept, surf, breeze, if your kids love waves, few shops etc - 1 hour drive West - Clearwater, St Pete, etc sugar sand, calm warm sea, float on noodles, shops bars etc - 1.5 hours drive Both nice in my opinion, perosnally I like the east coast for a day as you get a breeze and it feels cooler (but put on plenty of sunscreen or you'll fry!) plus I love the waves. Will your older kids will love to boogie board in surf as they are 10 and 13? Whilst the 3 year old builds sandcastles? Best of luck choosing, or do what we did on first visit, and go to east coast one day and west another. Mark |
