So mad! On line booking fail...

I am so annoyed, I have been tracking like a hawk a value room at Jambo, there on line dead on time and full avalaibilty for the and as I hit the button, poof, gone  the whole time period!

Twenty extra points we have to use now I wanted to save for Aulani.
Anyone ever waitlisted a value and got it?

If we have to use that many points we may blow it and try and change to BLT or Poly.

The value points at jambo are always the first to go as they are cheaper. I had two studios booked at 11 months for 10 days in September but due to an extra person now coming with us I have cancelled all ten days and booked a 2 bed instead. I find the best way to get extra days is to keep looking on line for cancellations (especially early morning)This is a better way than wait listing as I have always found the extra days I need before the waitlist. I book one day at a time as they come available until I have all the days I need and then I phone member services to get them linked.
The only time I have been unable to book the value rooms is if it is close to the date I need them as people don't tend to change their plans 2 -3 months away.

The problem with a waitlist is that ALL the days have to become available at the same time.

OP. I assume they were grabbed by a person with a faster internet connection?
The problem with booking odd days as they become available is you may end up with a gap or worse even maybe two. Then you are facing a move.

Is it worth buying the one time use points? Or even booking two days via Daves and the rest yourself, then linking the two bookings? I know there is a cost but it does keep your own apoints for Hawaii.
Pity you couldn't get them though as it's so frustrating when plans go awry.

We will see how it goes but yes, I assume the internet connection does it! It is off peak and our home resort... oh well, we prefer Kidani anyhow. We can always borrow... and hope the value comes up.
