I never trust I have worked out something correctly...

Okay I have a trip booked for Oct that I am considering cancelling for personal reasons.

I have a use year of October and my trip is booked with 2017 point and borrowed 2018 points.

If I do cancel I have until 30 Sept 2018 to use them right? or at least use my 2018 points because I could actually bank my 2017 points, right?

For some reason I always doubt that I work it out correctly

Yes 2017 points can be banked. 2018 points will expire by September 30 2018 due to your October Use Year.
