Booking on US version of airline website
Has anyone booked flights on the US version of American Airlines rather than the UK. I can see the same flight over 50% cheaper on the US one.

I haven't but please double check everything as that seems a huge difference.
A friend of mine thought they had a brilliant deal from Manchester to Las Vegas, only to find they booked a non-refundable trip from Manchester, New Hampshire. £1000 down the drain. |

Make sure the price includes all taxes as usually these are added on as you go through the payment process

There used to be issues with non-US addresses at check out, but that may have been resolved in this more global world. Like the previous poster said, get to check out and find out about this and taxes.

Be careful as the US sites tend to quote without taxes but you do sometimes get quirk fares which do work.
I once booked flight to the US with Delta where the taxes were over £150 lower booking through the US site rather than UK ( although when I tried to book it it reverted to UK price so I called Delta's US reservations and booked it by phone with no issue) |

Have you tried searching for the same flight on the BA sale?
That often is a much cheaper way of booking AA than direct on their website. |

I bought some us goods through a us post service where you are given your own po box in us. They then ship goods from there to U.K. Could you not sign up to this service, get your po box but just print tickets to save on postage to uk?
