Ice Machines in the hotels

Odd question - are there ice machines in the disneyland hotel?

Yes usually on most corridors. We've never had one far from our rooms.

Yes, although DH went off to get ice and missed it completely because it was behind a door! On a drink related quick note if you drink tea take tea bags, we had one bag left per day (think it was a bag not really sure as it felt like loose tea, never opened it)

That's handy to know - we took a camping fridge to the Cheyenne last summer, but we do like cold drinks so ice machines sound very handy. Are they in all the hotels or just the DLH? We're staying in the DLH this year, but might not be that desperate for cold drinks in December, and I'm not sure where we're staying for our next spring / summer DLP holiday yet.

I see a vlog on you tube where they weren't leaving ice buckets next to the machines in the Santa Fe - not sure if this was a one off - but people were putting carrier bags inside waste bins to fill up with ice? I'm hoping that's not the case now or for the other hotels for that matter. but thought it might be worth a mention

Not sure about other hotels - I can't remember at SQL as it was October! But just to confirm, DLH has buckets in your room next to the drinks in the TV cabinet, so you just toddle off and fill it up.

There is ice machines at SL Golden Forest Floors. At the end of the hall in a separate room. Also buckets in your room.

In Hotel New York the ice machine was across the corridor from the lifts on the 5th floor. not too sure about other hotels.
