Chazy & Ben Shanghai & Tokyo - Shanghai 11th May

We had a lazy morning, I did online check in for our flight to Tokyo tomorrow. We headed out about 11. We popped into m&ms world but it must be new as it was quite empty/had the same stock on both floors.

We headed to People's park and stopped by Starbucks on the way.

It will soon be lunch time so just shared a fruit salad & fruit juice (42rmb).

We kept walking and happened to stumble across a food place Ben wanted to try (6rmb).

I grabbed a ginger cola and some Haribo (10rmb) and we carried on walking heading back on ourselves to the bund.
Diet coke moment...

Didn't totally like it so gave it to Ben just as I saw kfc as I'd seen a pink drink (10rmb) for strawberry milkshake Pepsi.

It's 32 degrees so I stopped for an ice cream which was yummy (15rmb two tone but you can't really see).

Typical on our last day we find food courts!

I saw a meat skewer stand - Ben had beef, I had lamb (50rmb) delicious!

We kept walking towards the Bund and took some pictures.

Slow boat to? China? Lol!

We grabbed drinks along the bund - 8 rmb for 1 fanta peach & 1 fanta apple. We then carried on following the signs for Yuyuan.

It's funny to look back at pictures!

We stopped at a stall for a fan for Ben's stepdad (10rmb) and while we were there the man kindly gestured to my chest...? Then he took my bag when I struggled to understand and put it on my front! Bless him! Here's proof...!

We had a wander and then headed back to the metro station. We got line 10 to Laoximen then line 8 to Lujibang Road and then line 9 to Dapiquao for French Concession. We brought 2 day tickets from the service kiosk - 36rmb. These metro stations have so many steps!

We had a wander round and came across this clever candy floss seller - 40rmb.

We carried on walking through, lots of places were doing 2for1 but Ben prefers craft beers. We kept walking around, I grabbed a novelty drink - 15rmb and then decided to move on.

Ben wanted to go to Yangs which we'd seen yesterday.

We shared the mixed dumplings (18rmb). 2 pork, 2 shrimp & 2 with a vegetable in.

I really enjoyed the pork. We headed back to the hotel to pack & finally got to bed at 2am!

Hahaha I know right! I hate heels at the best of times but the ladies in Asia are always wearing heels! Thank you so much for reading and commenting!
