Florida 2019 - it‘s here at last - Day 18

Nothing planned for today. I got up and pottered around, watched a Christmas movie and then made breakfast for us both. Then we went for a walk along the beach. I love how the birds and people mix on the beach. We walked as far as North Reddington and then cut through and walked back along the road, eyeing up some of the lottery money beach front properties. About 3 hours of walking. It was another hot day too.

This is one of my favourite photos, it's like a postcard.

On our way back we saw this retro cop car driving up and down Gulf Blvd.

Back at the cottage we had some juice and I sat out and read for a wee while. Stevie sat inside in the cool watching the Scoobydoo then the Adams Family.

This was my spot for the next wee while.

I know I posted the nighttime view of outside, however I thought I'd give you the daytime view.

We got showered and headed to the Mad Beach Brewery for some dinner. Stevie had a burger where the bun was made of deep fried mac n cheese! He had to eat it with a knife and fork. We had a beer cocktail each, they were very nice indeed.

We left there and had a wander through a couple of shops, before stopping in at the Mad Pub for a wee drink. We had a couple while people watching and watching some sports on the many TVs.

By now it was after 9.00 and the shops were all closed. We headed for home, stopping the Bamboo Hut for one for the road.

Once home I had a craving for something sweet so indulged in some milk duds, I love these.

We thought this time of year might be a bit busier than our usual December visit, but it's actually quieter.
