Erm...so that's a little worrying.
This owner does realize its illegal to short term rent any home in Hunters Creek? If you rent it and someone calls the local authority you may be evicted. The only short term rental zoned communities are located South of Disney World. Check out any Kissimmee homes, the closest to Universal will be around a 20-minute drive (if the I4 is clear... ). They will be Windsor Hills, Formosa Gardens, Reunion Resort, Encore Resort, Margaritaville. This area however is a great place to be and close to everything. |

This owner is and others are completely legal and able to rent as short term rental in Orange County.
Doing a search of this subject will show you that this has been raised many times before.

Hi Majik,
So just as I thought I was in fact correct. Hunters Creek is NOT zoned for short term rental and after a call with Hunters Creek homeowner association, they also said short term rentals within Hunters Creek are forbidden and that the home will be shut down owner fined and guests evicted. The law also states that IF the area is not short term zoned and IF the HOA allows it then you still need to be inside the house when the guests are renting from you. You cannot short term rent without you being there. If you have conflicting laws on this I would love to see this. |
