Mobile Gift ideas for Parents in their 70s

DH parents are active 78 and 74 year olds. They go on holiday several times a year and when she was 70 MIL walked the Inca trail to Machu Picchu so they are very fit and active for their age!

We are struggling with ideas for Xmas gifts this year and wonder what you are buying parents and grandparents this year ... or if you are of that generation what you would appreciate 😀

We are in that age range. I would like travel clothing from the Rohan range' The Essential t-shirts are fab. and really do dry in 3hrs! They have a menswear range too.

How about a 'coffee table' book of the Inca Trail or the likes. My Mum is in her 70s but has asked for Chanel stuff.

We're not quite that age but we've told our children not to buy us nothing as we'd like them to make a donation to charity instead.

What about an afternoon tea voucher? Or a weekend break in a nice hotel in the UK, depending on their interests this could be a city break somewhere like York, Cardiff or Chester or a country house hotel in the Cotswolds or Lake District or a seaside break in Devon, Cornwall etc

For several years now we (the ladies of the family- aunties, mothers, daughters etc) have done a day trip away with some form of show and shopping included. Next year we are seeing Strictly live. We organise a similar outing for the boys- has included back stage theatre tours, birds of pray experiences, show tickets etc. I know my mam and dad and mil and fil love spending times like this and making memories. We have also booked New Years holidays to centre Parcs -2 lodges lots of activities. Everyone chips in and it's our presents to each other. Youngest family member is 16 and oldest is 83.

We’ve brought our parents annual passes to our local castle (Warwick), National Trust membership and afternoon tea at Coombe Abbey.

If they go on holiday a lot how about an annual pass for lounges at the airport?
