Mobile Last week of july or last week of august?

Me again. I have both the first and last week of the summer holidays off next year- does anyone have experience of visiting during both times and in your opinion which was quieter/less crowded? Also am i right in thinking avoiding weekends is also a big must?
Many thanks for any replies😊

July is the middle of US school holidays and is always busy.
We have only been once in July but twice at the end of August.
Temperatures are similar in both months. Crowds get lower in the last week of August as US children head back to school. Also prices slightly less in the past.
Also found there were less groups of South American children at the end of August.

Both weeks would be considered peak season with Spanish, French and UK schools on holiday.

I've visited in July and August and can't say I remember either time being significantly busier than the other. I would personally just price up both and go with whichever is cheaper!
