Up on Christmas Eve and down on 12th night. Bit of a family tradition.

Ours is usually up from 1st December. Sometimes we think of putting it up slightly earlier because when we have been to WDW in November, we are still in the festive mood once we are home. With the number of tree ornaments we have, I think we might need a second tree

Love it.
Used to be mid Dec but since the Grandkids and Great Nephews-Neices came along it's 1st Dec

I started buying the mini village houses etc (cost a fortune!) A while ago and we set it up on a big table with a train set.

(Yeah I know it's me really that loves it&#128514

Bought a load from a store which had a window display in Jan this year. Should have been £400 got it for £75, love a bargain!

So can't wait for 1st Dec and all little uns coming round.

"It's beginning to look a lot like... "😂😁😂

I don’t often even bother, but never before December something, however I have the granddaughter coming for a sleepover this Fri/ Sat night so I was just wondering if to keep her amused I could take her to The Range and let her choose a couple of cheapie things and then stick all the stuff up once home. I too only have some kind of pre decorated fibre optic thing.
That’s way earlier than my usual bi annual if I can be bothered event, but it will kill a bit of time. Ha ha!

When I started dating my husband he lived in a shared student house. I first went round in about September and couldn't believe they already had their tree up! However when questioned about it he said they couldn't be bothered to take it down and once it got to July they decided to just leave it up for next year 😂

I’ve already started, bit by bit. The tree is going up this weekend.
My OH works shifts and we love to have a few nights in watching films with nothing bit the Xmas lights on. This year he’s working over Xmas so they’re going up early.
We once did a Xmas complete with decs and turkey in March. That was to celebrate as a friend had been in a coma over Xmas and once she was discharged and able we had Xmas again.

Usually the nearest weekend to first of December however we are away weekend of 30th Nov and kids not willing to wait until 7th so it's this weekend. It means I no longer have to move all my ornaments to dust haha
