Thanks yep that’s the one I tried , it gives a list but half of them aren’t quoting at present , and the links on the others don’t work , and most of them you have to phone .

Pulling my hair out, can’t belive all this for a routine operation , goodness knows how people with serious conditions / operations cope with insurance .

They did say I could submit a claim for cancellation, but no point as we can move the Disney part in September to next , so no point really . Really Gob smacked it’s a routine operation that thousands of woman have , and I get that they wouldn’t cover me for that which I was expecting, but to not cover me for anything or my other pemc , and to cancel the policy .

I managed to keep DH on it , as we got 15 months for 12 , and they refunded my bit , but now trying to find insurance again, with limited options is a minefield .

Possibly going to now cancel ,on top of the toingand froing , and testing , and will we be allowed in, this has finished me off .

Am confused. Did you apply for a pemc quote ? And then they said they aren't prepared to quote for you once you put your details in?

If that is the case, I'm sorry it sounds like it must be personal to your particular circumstances.

I have a range of pemc and just got insurance through them on Thurs and was offered 30+ quotes

It may well be that you do have to phone through given your own circumstances. Hope you can find something suitable.

Is it because you are still waiting to have the op? Or things are still under investigation? I know my FIL had a hell of a time getting insurance when they were investigating a problem with his collarbone, and that was only a minor thing too.

No I put in my pemc , and some of the links aren’t quoting, maybe they’ve gone out of business ! Lol

I think I managEd to get 16 in total and that was it , from one site .

Al the other seems I need to call, which is abit of a ball ache , going through every question again and again lol

No I’m waiting for the op, I’ve been diagnosed , amazing , goodness knows how people with cancer etc cope must be awful if this is how difficult it is for a minor op .
