I’ve had the same problem getting a plumber. I’ve called all the ones recommended by friends and clients, they all say text your details and I’ll be in touch, they are never in touch! I now have a local chap booked, he lives just up from the salon and drinks at the pub next door, he can’t get away from me!

DH runs a timber business and could sell stuff 5 times over just now. Can't cut the stuff quick enough, it's flying out the door. We're not complaining too much but would prefer steady sales throughout the whole year over this! Hate turning work away

Well we're now hoping our 4th gas fitter turns up this afternoon after our 3rd didn't turn up last night ! 🤬🤬🤬aaaargh so frustrating 😑

Just contacted our fourth heating engineer since February ( including British Gas with whom we had a contract, and who weren’t at all interested). Either say they will be in touch, or don’t turn up. Really frustrating!

i have found this too with roofers - they only want the big work but still take ages to send a quote through - they blame covid still!

ive abandoned the idea of a new kitchen for a while as cant decide plus getting a fitter is a nightmare. It will give me a chance to save a bit more though.
