Barbados(since we can’t get to Florida)

So after an uneventful 2 flights gla-Heathrow, Heathrow-Bridgetown, we landed in a thunderstorm at 3:30pm local time, not looking forward to all the testing nonesense but within an hour we were through testing, bag pick up and immigration and were in our private transfer to hotel, 20 minutes later checked into hotel and sitting at bar drinking rum punch while wife had a pina colada, there was an inch of water at the bar from the rain but who cares we are on HOLIDAY, got to isolate for maybe 24hrs in hotel until test results come back but hey there’s a pool and a bar so happy days.

First time here, always been Florida for past 16 years but can’t get in and needed to get away, got email for negative test so cutting off wrist bands given at airport for quarantine period, breakfast then off to explore

Enjoy Barbados, lots to see and do. Look at getting a booklet or read online, ‘Barbados in a Nutshell’ for restaurants and activities

Looking forward to hearing all about it, we've booked for October in place of our Florida holiday, I didn't want to book until the last minute, but was literally watching availability disappear, it's incredibly popular at the moment, our flight is full.

1st time in the Caribbean (unless you count Mexico) for us both, as we usually head East, but obviously can't do that at the moment.
