I stayed in the same Travelodge at Moor street as Mexy02 on the weekend. It’s very secure as there is 24 hour reception and no one can enter at night without using their room keycard to get through two doors and past the reception area before entering the floors.

It’s really close to the train station and the city centre. We travelled as a group of ladies and found the reception staff really helpful and friendly

We had a PCR test at the Burlington a few weeks ago and it was a lovely hotel. There are plenty of Premier Inn's, Hilton's around the area. Plus Malmaison, Hotel Indigo and AC Hotel are in a nice area called the Mailbox which has a secure car park. Clayton is a bit further out but still walking distance and it pops up quite often on Groupon (and similar sites).

Definitely avoid Britannia Hotel in Birmingham! It looks like a good location for the markets on the map but it's awful.
Yeah it looks very similar to Manchester markets to be honest, but just a bit bigger. We also want to go for the shopping and there’s a couple of museums I’d like to take a look at. So the markets definitely won’t be the only thing we are there for.

Thank you. I think I’ll probably go for the premier inn as it’s within my price range and i don’t really bother with more upmarket hotels, I just want a clean bed really!
