There was a big couple going down about my age and wanted to tell them not to go, the ranger said usually you walk up to things so the hard bits over. This is walking down then up so that made me feel a bit better, he said I had mild heatstroke but I think it’s cos I’m 3 stone overweight!

I’ll make a note not to go there! We went down Robin Hoods Bay and I found it very hard to get back up the hill there. I felt very pathetic as others seemed to be strolling up easily.

I’m glad you all had a good time (including Poppy) and I respect your honesty with struggling to walk up a few steps and an air ambulance having to come out to rescue you.

The pictures look good except for the chips/fries that look a little underdone.

I was a pathetic hot mess and I had a nice man called Derry look after me, dh bogged off and looking embarrassed when he saw me being helped. Poppy sat next to me and looked like she was thinking what the hells wrong with you now you stupid woman! Chips were very nice a bit like McDonald’s, hotel is full of doggy’s if you fancy visiting. After my near death experience I am joyful to be alive.
