Heathrow Airport Parking

Hi,

We’re flying from Heathrow’s terminal 2 next August and trying to work out which hotel/parking is best?

My first thought was Premier Inn, Bath Road and leaving the car with Purple Parking. I’ve read it can be a bit of a pain waiting for the transfer when we arrive back though.

Second thought is Premier Inn Terminal 4. Apparently there’s somewhere to leave the car nearby and then we can get the free train to terminal 2.

Option 3 is to park in the official Heathrow long stay terminal 2 (so doesn’t really matter where we stay nearby) as thinking it may be easier?

Many thanks

We have always done option 1 and used the shuttle without any problem.

I guess that option 1(a) would be to look initially to the shuttle and then hop in a taxi if you think that there will be a delay.

It may still be cheaper than rival offerings.

I prefer to park myself and keep my keys (especially after seeing some cars damaged when being packed together, whilst looking out of the window at one of the offsite parking places near the Hilton at Heathrow).

Last trip from Heathrow we stayed at the Premier Inn, but used Heathrow's official/onsite parking and would happily use again. Just park up, jump on the shuttle bus and off you go, and a simple reverse on return.

This is my thinking at the moment. It’s a bit more expensive, but could be worth it for convenience!

I tend to go for short stay parking a little more expensive but well worth it IMO

Offical Heathrow or Purple Parking meet and greet at T3. Easy and short walk to and from terminal. Have used their off site parking but always find it to be hassle when returning and having to wait for bus
