Not everything is included in the Genie+ remember, Its pony up per person per ride for the popular ones of course, rope drop and run or standby for 90 mins even after paying your daily genie+.

At least in the old days you had a very decent chance of FP the mega popular rides.

Just had a long questionnaire from Disney about our DLP visit
One question was about premier access pass and if I was aware of it, if I used it and reason why I didn’t use it

We wont go just because of Genie+ but all the other changes recently I think for us its the straw that broke the camels back. I would rather spend my money in Universal or some of the other less well know atractions around Florida. Disney for me has lost its appeal and I would rather remember as it was

The only way to hit Disney is in their pocket. I booked HRH Universal Resort last night for 14 nights. I cannot bring myself to spend over 5k for an hotel in Disney anymore. It’s so sad but Disney has lost its magic for me. I will go on you tube and dislike the video too. We need to make a stand. I’m not sure Walt or Roy would approve.

Agreed.

Probably the only way Disney will stop doing these things is if they see that the changes they are making are reducing the amount of profit they are making.

If just as many people (or more!) visit their parks and Disney ends up making more profit from these changes than previously then they'll keep on making similar changes. Doesn't matter if some people moan about it - they'll find a way to charge for other things that they previously provided for 'free' if there's more profit to be made.
