No its an avios booking but made to extend our 241 vouchers (as one was expiring Feb 2022 and we wouldnt be able to use it) so its an avios only booking (for 4 made with 2 vouchers) to give a FTV which extends the life of our 241 (we just did a MAN-LHR return for all 4 of us with avios, then cancelled after our cooling off period)

Yes, if you change/cancel there has to be availability for your new dates. If BA cancel you can move to any date.

So to add to the complication we are using 2 241 FTV for BA to book our reward seats so because I have to book by phone I guess I will ask them when I am booking it to confirm what flexibility there is to change destination airport (assuming availability exists)

if its £35 per person then that’s not too bad !

Yes, that’s a voluntary change so £35 each. Has to be Avios availability for the new destination of course.
