Colour for patio slabs...

Evening all. We’re replacing our patio and can’t decide what colour slabs to go for! Our house is Cotswold Stone (which is fairly pale), our garden is tiny and the patio will be about 4 or 5 slabs deep and just run along the back of the house. We always thought we’d go for slabs that match the house but having had a look today, both DH and I were unexpectedly drawn towards the dark grey slabs! We think they would look good as a contrast, but having searched online for an image to try and see what it might look like, I can’t find anything.

Has anyone else got this colour combo? Or have an opinion on what it might be like? Does anyone have an image they might like to share?

Many thanks in advance

We have light grey against our stone wall but they look dark when wet. We may seal them sometime which will make them darker all the time. I think the contrast of the dark against the cotswold stone would look good.

Have just taken this of them in the rain.

Thank you both very much, and for going to the effort of taking the photos
