End Sept/beginning Oct 2022
1 Person! Onsite Disney Hotel and Tickets £1400 (could get cheaper off site but I like the ease of being on site when I'm solo) Approx Flights £550 (can't get at the moment but a fly drive is coming in at £830 so if i subtract £400 for car hire about £430 but am happy to pay upto around £550 if needs be) Universal Ticket - hopefully a season pass still in place from this year Approx Total: £1950 Spending £1000 Approx Overall Total £2950 This is all DIY but the same package currently booked through Virgin Holidays is coming in at just over £2500 for Flight, Hotel and Disney ticket. I'm also hoping to add a 2 night stay at the Star Wars Hotel on top of this subject it being open and getting a room but this would be a total one off luxury that has been saved for separately and wouldnt come out of my normal holiday savings, so ive not included it (plus I don't know how much its going to cost - but I'm suspecting my first born and a few limbs too!) May 2022
We've just (last night) changed our November 2021 trip to May 2022.
Change fees (Boo!): £525 9-nights POP Century, 7-nights Endless Summer 2-bed suite (so 16 nights) Virgin MAN-MCO Airport tranfers and transfer between Disney & Universal Disney and Universal 14-day tickets = £6789 Spending money - around £4000 (we like to buy a LOT) but I'm hoping that the exchange rate will allow us to reduce this a little Radisson Blu airport hotel - £153 Dog boarding - £500 - also hoping a family member will do a week or so of the boarding ESTAs (already done for November trip) Insurance - £180 So all in all, a hefty 12k. Although some items are already paid for (such as the change fees, which were just taken from the November deposit). Will be more than worth it though. |

This is actually the first time Ive added everything up exactly, but on the principal that the cost will been spread over a three Year periodic not too bad ! Total £12,750 ( with approx cost of the extra two nights and Insurance ) |

Waaaaayyyyy too much!
£2003 for 4 nights at hard rock plus US tickets £8756 for 9 nights at Wilderness Lodge (fireworks view room though) plus Disney tickets So I’m over £10k before booking flights or factoring in food costs. Hoping to get reward flights with virgin if they still exist in 2022 so only paying about £1000 worth of taxes. |

Thanks for showing me the cost in this differnet light. Helps justify it a little more and makes it easier to swallow. Not that I have anyone to justify it too that is, apart from the boss who will have to wait a few more years for her new kitchen
