That's the one I meant sorry. Must have hotels on the brain still, Cabana Bay is the hotel attached to Volcano Bay.

On the Universal page it states:

Volcano Bay
Island of Adventure
Universal Studios

are IOA & US in the same park or are they separate? Do you think we could do both of these in one day?

I am thinking of doing what you said loldis - Volcano Bay on the last day

I am just hoping we can get the rest done in one full day😬

If you have 3 nights there though, you'll have 2 full days plus the check-out day. Plenty of time for Universal IMO, especially since you'll have Express passes.

IOA and US are separate parks, though they are basically next to each other, so you can park hop by walking or getting the hogwarts express. It depends what you want to do, however I would say each park probably needs a day each in order to try and do the majority of the rides.

We do it every time. Get at least 2/3 hours in the parks. We love just throwing cases in our room and shooting straight into the park.
Need a good run through customs admittedly but it’s more than doable.

We did the same as you one year.

We landed and just unpacked and grab some food when staying at Hard Rock.
Up early and did US.
Next day up early again and did IOA
Then on the check out day we went shopping for the day leaving our bags with bell services. But for you I would recommend doing Volcano bay and then later that day head over to your Disney hotel.
It was plenty of time to get what we wanted to done for our first visit. One of the days we had done everything we wanted and managed to have a late afternoon relax at the pool at Hard Rock.

Just checked my booking and we arrive at universal on the 6th and leave to go to the Disney Resort on the 9th therefore Panic over!

Looks like we will get 2-3 full days in Universal and can just not go crazy on arrival day
