Thanks for the heads up. Just booked a MX5 for 15 nights in May picking up from Cabana Bay for £588, pay on collection, which is miles cheaper than I’ve seen so far

TOP TIP

I called AVIS today to query their cancellation policy. Whilst on the phone they offered to beat the online quote, which they did (even taking into account 8.5% Topcashback).

Booked mid May 14N mid size SUV from Portofino Bay, drop back off a MCO for £535, can cancel free uno to 24hrs before collection.

Not too bad I think…

For Avis rentals to get the cheaper prices you need to collect from a Universal hotel, Endless Summer not included). Car can be dropped off at MCO.

Not seeing any good prices (minimum £1,300) for a Standard to Full Size SUV. June 2022 MCO.

Anyone any hints/tips? It’s for 17 nights

I think it’s the non- airport hire that’s working in your favour. We’re collecting from Miami Beach rather than the airport, that takes $2000 off the cost

We made two bookings instead of one, after 3 days we drive to Hard rock hotel and change our car for the same type, same time ect, both avis.
But it saves us 1300 euro's to do it like this.

So MCO- HRH (2 days) and then HRH-MCO (20 days)
we "change" our car at sunday morning 9 am for the same type.

Seems silly but the savings are worth it for us
