October 2022 watch thread

Hi all

Have our villa dates booked and now waiting for flights to be released.

Also waiting to book car hire but calendars on companies like Avis, Costco, Hertz, Autoeurope only seem to go up to August at the moment.

I have had a quote from Andy but prices way to high at the moment.

Anyone else waiting to book car hire for October or if you have already managed to book, what prices did you get and where from?

I have October 2022 already booked with Andy.

However it was from way before these crazy prices came in so it's the normal price I would expect for a 3 week rental that time of year.

In your shoes I would secure an offline price from Andy then watch all the websites like a hawk. Prices are dropping. Best of luck.

Would you mind me asking how much you have paid for a 3 week rental and what car type you have?

We also require a 3 week rental and ideally a standard SUV or bigger but prices with Andy were >�1000 at the moment so decided not to book and end up having to waste his time having to cancel it later.

It's a Standard SUV with Alamo - �697.65. Thats a shade over 3 weeks. MCO pick up and drop off.

That was booked on the 1st March this year. Late Oct 2022 pick up.

That�s such a good price! We are travelling 14/10-4/11 so will be hoping for something around this price.

I�ll keep checking on a daily basis and driving myself crazy!
