Crowns Plaza is perfect for the Theatre, literally across the road, there’s also a Premier Inn a bit further up the road opposite Trent Uni, for the more budget conscious.
Food wise, just down from the theatre on Queen Street, I can recommend Reds True Barbeque, George’s, and Bill’s. truebarbecue/the-good-bo...ter/full-menu/ georgesgreatbritishkitchen/menus/ bills-website/restaura...ttingham/menus We were booked for George’s for my birthday last year, until we ended spending all day getting a Covid test for DD, as she had the back to school cough. Across the other side of the theatre, from the Crowne Plaza, is the Cornerhouse, which has lots of restaurants too including Slug and Lettuce, Bella Italia, Nando’s and Pizza Hut, and also a Cineworld cinema. Edit: I put the wrong cinema chain 🤦
