The costs are a big hit for families staying more than 4 nights.

Have I got this right, you HAVE to get online (phone) at 7am to book your first ride of the day otherwise you cannot make a book a ride later in the day. Or am I reading this all wrong, I find it so confusing.

We are on holiday, and most certainly wouldn't be up at 7am, my DS and DIL both have to be at work at 7am every day, and we normally get to the parks around 11/12 in the morning.

No, you don't need to be up at 7am but I am guessing some of the star attractions will get booked up quickly and you will be left with Dumbo or similar

No, rides times are released throughout the day, not all of them at 7am.

So you have to check your phone all day to see if a ride appears?

The only time I'd get up at 7am in the whole holiday would be to join a virtual line for ROTR, most probably on day 1 or 2 when I'm still jetlagged. For everything else, it will be on the go in the parks.
This will be us too, methinks, altho if Tron and GotG are open too we’d do those as well

I don’t care if we don’t get to do everything, I like not feeling the pressure of having to plan so far in advance (because you know everyone else will be), and have never made more than a few ADRs for any stay, so prefer this system (ignoring the cost, obvs the old old way was better as it was free )

Good news - you can pay your $5 dollars at 7am in the morning and get your cup of water at the next timed delivery slot that is available.

Should you wish to, you can pay for an “individual ice addition” to ensure your water is nice and chilled. The cost of the ice will vary depending on demand and season.

Alternatively, you can join the queue and take a few licks of the rusty pipe end out the back of the Tomorrowland toilet facility.

WDW has listened to guest feedback and is pleased to offer these options to improve your hydration experience.
