Anyone used the standby pass?

For those that have been recently did you use the free standby pass system?
How did you find it?
Is it just for a few rides?

It is only on Crushes Coaster at the moment but apparently other attractions will be added onto that system in due course.

Thanks
Not sure I’ll go on that as it looks like a motion sickness trigger

You betcha. It’s pretty wild.

For Studios I would do Ratatouille during Extra Magic Time, then the Toy Story Playland rides if they are open, and get in the Tower of Terror queue for when it opens at 10am.

I don't understand the Standby Pass. Is it like the old free paper fastpasses, where you get access to a quicker queue?

The website also says "Standby Pass may be required to access the line at certain times of the day, depending on demand for the attraction" - does that imply that you might not be able to join the regular line for a ride at all if it gets too busy?!

Haven’t used it as we haven’t needed too
I’ve noticed ratatouille changes at certain times of the day where you need to get a time slot

Standby pass is different from Premier Access.

Standby pass is a virtual queue that opens when an actual queue gets long. It was only on Crush, they tried it for a week or so and have stopped doing it, I think. Although sounds like Ratatouille is doing it currently.

Premiere Pass is like Fastpass but you have to buy them. Individually!

I suspect they are not needed at all.
