No direct Eurostar on Thursdays?

Has this always been the case or is it just at the moment?
Was very much hoping for a direct Thursday train in June!

We go on Friday and only indirect was an option

I'm sure when I last went in 2017, it wasn't a daily service. So I don't think it's a new thing.

Yeah, but OP is looking for June which is why I mentioned it's not for much longer. They should be the normal schedules available.

It’s not direct every day though, hasn’t been for years.

Changing at Lille is really easy and gives you more choice of times.

I've done indirect twice before and both times it was a nightmare due to delays on the first train so I'd really rather not do indirect if possible. Oh well, it's still preferable than driving I guess!

Although having said that, I've just remembered that they're still not stopping at Ebbsfleet (30 mins from us) either!

Oh dear! We had no issues, first time we didn’t even have to change platforms, just a 40 minute wait so we popped upstairs for a coffee. Second time we had to go to Lille Flandres which is just a 10 minute walk straight up the road - we had plenty of time.

Alternatively you could get the Gare du Nord train and the RER? That’s pretty easy too, and means you have loads more trains to choose from, they’re cheaper and you get there earlier.
