Just had my pre-procedure call (seemingly saves time tomorrow at hospital! )
It's out of my hands... They say I'm scheduled for sedation 😳🙈 probably better this way... I have a runny tummy already through stressing out and I haven't even started taking the prep yet! 😂 😂

I had one 18 months ago and honestly its not bad at all, I did have sedation, but was fully awake and able to watch it on the screen, then walk to the car (husband drove), felt a bit tired for the rest of the day. The prep is honestly the worst. I was told to put it in the fridge to make it very cold, then drink with a straw. At first I thought hey this doesn't taste bad, but is sweet, so sickly sweet. The cold and straw does help. During the proceedure if you do feel a bit of discomfort bear down (as if trying to break wind) - I was told this by the nurse during an uncomfortable bit and it honestly helped. But over all it was not bad at all, certainly not painful
