I hope you dog gets well soon!
I take my dogs out seperate as I don’t have the strength to hold both of they decide to pull
If she knew she coouldnt hold the dog she should have been paying someone with the strength to take them on solo walks

OP I’m sorry to hear that you and your furbaby are having to deal with this. Although it sounds as though the other dog owner is trying to deal with what’s happened and doesn’t seem to be shirking responsibility, that doesn’t help how you feel at the moment. Hopefully your vets will have a positive update for you soon.
Loose dogs are a worry though. We now have a new puppy who has only recently been able to go out, and the number of other dog owners who let their dogs loose and come bowling up to us has shocked me.
I hope your dog gets well soon.

Another update on my boy, he’s out of surgery, is stable and in recovery at the moment ❤️

I haven’t had a chance to speak to the vet yet, just got a message through the receptionist, but I’ve to phone back at 3pm for a time to pick him up later.

All seems to have gone as well as it could, just can’t wait to get him home ❤️

Unfortunately after his surgery he didn’t improve enough and is still in a lot of pain so the vet wants to keep him in tonight again to manage his pain relief.

We were able to go and visit him briefly and oh my goodness what a shock that was seeing him.
Almost his whole torso is shaved, he has two large incisions and 7 drains. His whole skin was lifted off his body so that’s why he’s still in so much pain.

Bless him he was so happy to see us and was wagging his tail and giving lots of kisses 😢 then he went and stood at the door and cried because he wanted to go home. The vet did say he picked up a lot for seeing us.

I’m in absolute bits I know he’s in the best place but I feel so bad leaving him there my heart hurts so much 😭 I can’t stop crying
