Hertz via Costco Car Hire

If you are a Costco member, you definitely need to check prices with them on their dedicated car hire page.

Our new dates (hopefully) are 9th April-23rd April. On Costco they have Alamo, Enterprise and Hertz. Most of the prices are crazy but there seems to be a constant "normal" price (possibly a glitch) for the intermediate SUV with Hertz. I've just paid £523 after watching the price for weeks while I waited to see what happened with our VA flights for October and if I could move them to next year.

Hopefully that will help someone! Worth signing up for Costco membership just for the saving! O, and Costco members get a free additional driver

Yes we booked that a few weeks ago. Not sure if it’s a glitch as it’s been there every time I’ve checked.

It's been there for ages for sure; I booked for our (now cancelled) October trip back in April and got those 12 days for £480. The prices weren't quite so crazy at that point, but most other cars were around the £1k mark.

ive been keeping an eye on it and not wanting to book it until i know we're getting to go.

my biggest concern over this price is that mousesavers newsletter recently had a story telling people to check their rates as hertz had increased the rates on their bookings without notice.

I know that the costco rate is prepaid but it's something that makes me wary of hertz

That would be perfect for us but I can't get these prices when I look on Costco's. Maybe the glitch is over

I was searching 8/8/21 - 31/8/21 and getting silly prices over £2k :-( so think it must have finished

It’s still there for my dates in April/May so it might just be date related.
