What puts you in an immediate foul mood

I’m in a foul mood, daughters going back to uni tomorrow and I did last min washing and the washing machine wouldn’t drain so it took two hours to sort it. A bottle of head and shoulders was packed last year with all her paper and stationary and hangers and it was empty! She was having a hissy fit so I had to sort it all by throwing loads out and washing the rest, I will miss her but at the moment I could do with her leaving. By tomorrow evening I’ll be missing her again!

My mum is also addicted to those tins of Vaseline. Going on a plane is interesting as they always have things on them, or in their hand luggage they shouldn’t….particularly umpteen tubs of Vaseline!

I have little tins of Lush lip balm everywhere….my car, the side of my bed, the lamp table next to where I sit in the lounge, my handbag. The last thing I do before I go to sleep is put my lip balm on. I can’t sleep otherwise. I’m glad it’s not just me that’s addicted 😂

Omg, I used to go through this when my daughter was at uni. I’ll be honest, in the days leading up to her leaving to go back, I was doing cartwheels : But now she’s working away in Lincoln, I do miss her. I forget that feeling though when it takes twice as long to tidy up because this young lady that can perfectly run a home by herself when away and on the phone telling me about all the exotic and wonderful meals she is cooking for herself, resorts to a helpless toddler, once she is home

She had a rubbish year in halls last year so I’m hoping it will be better this year, she very unorganised and untidy but very sweet (normally) and clever! She’s ended up with the tiniest room just like home so I suppose it’s going to be Chaotic! 🤣
