Sequoia Lodge vs Cheyenne

Looking to go for a few days this December and Sequoia is coming in about £100 cheaper than Cheyenne. The price difference doesn’t matter but where would everyone rather stay? I always thought Sequoia was a better hotel so surprised it’s came in cheaper.

Thanks

Sequoia is a higher class of hotel. It’s also nearer the parks. Go for it!

Would second that - Sequoia is a shorter walk, a nice ‘winter’ hotel, good for December!
I’d go for a room in the main building.

Both are nice hotels but there is no contest in which is more luxurious - sequoia- especially in winter as noted above. It's also closer to the parks.

Cheyenne has lovely theming and is fun with young children but I'd say is more worthwhile in summer

SL was cheaper than Cheyenne for me as well. As above, it's a higher tier hotel so shouldn't be but they seem to have some good deals on at the minute.

Definitely Sequoia, we went in December (pre covid), loved all the Christmas theming.

Both are brilliant hotels. I'd go Sequoia though as nearer parks and you get more for your money. Also same as others have said, it is lovely in autumn and winter.

I think the Toy Story theme, plus the bed situation, makes the Cheyenne look a lot more appealing to a lot of families/groups, so it gets booked quicker, and therefore prices go up.

When I was looking for May half term I couldn’t even get any main building rooms to come up at Sequoia, only the lodges. Not that they particularly bothers us.

I’d go for whatever was cheaper and use the money for something else!
