Spending time in Tampa?
Hello lovely people of the dibb. My dates for next year are soon to be released with ba and as everyone else is finding Tampa is definitely coming out cheaper for next year. We dont usually drive so have been thinking about getting an Uber or taxi to Orlando however I'm just wondering what peoples thoughts are on actually spending a bit of time in Tampa itself? Thinking maybe of heading towards the beach (David t beach doesn't look too far) and have a few days there either at the begining or end of our holiday.
Thinking it could be workable to fly into mco do the Disney bit and then maybe 5 days in Tampa before flying home? Any thoughts appreciated this would be totally new for us! |

We nearly did that on a recent visit.
There's some surprisingly good things to do in and around Tampa. This City Pass ticket on Expedia looked quite good, I thought: expedia/things-to-...MMENDED&swp=on |

For the beach we usually spend a day in Clearwater and drive down from Orlando but if you're more local its really nice.

If you're going when hockey season on i highly recommend catching a game. Go to the aquarium then head to the stadium.
