Is it time to book 22/8 flights?
I’ve just look and 2 week return is over £4000 for 4 of us with BA - will more flights come up?!

BA is currently the only airline offering returns that far out. The other airlines are 330 days from your return date, so still another month to wait for their pricing assuming 22/8 is your outbound rather than return date.
August demand is insane though, so I suspect the others will also be high. But more indirect options should become available. |

What is your return date? BA flights are now available into early September so keep an eye for your dates as you may get a good deal on release date, particularly if you look at travelling into Tampa.

I would suggest you do not book anything until the travel ban is lifted!
Maybe by the end of the year things will be more clear on travelling but at the moment things don't seem to change and we can't assume that the borders will be open by next August or even what quarantine measures may be in place? Too risky to me but I get that most people just want a holiday and something to look forward too! |

Please don’t suggest that to people. That’s just wrong. You will likely cause people to pay a lot more money.
Not sure what risk there is in booking with BA now, either a full holiday or a flight with 1 night in a hotel and Pay a small deposit. If you decide against it you can get a voucher for the deposit or if they cancel, a full refund. To me it’s more risky to wait and be a part of the scramble to book when the ban is lifted. The prices are unlikely to be favourable at that time. Edited at 10:51 AM. |

I came on to ask this very question! My son started school this year so for the first time we are having to book in August.. Our dates are 15 - 29.
I am gutted at the prices of BA so far. I will wait around a month for our return dates to become available. But am I resigned to the fact that it is going to be £3k plus?! |

Prices are crazy right now as so many people have had to rebook so many times that availability is reduced. Once they announce a lift on the travel ban however, they will go even higher as people rush to book. I think it's just going to be expensive whenever you book so just go with a price you are prepared to pay.

We are going August 22 and yes right now BA's prices are shocking. I have nearly pressed the button a couple of times but I am going to take the risk that they will eventually drop a couple of weeks after all all flights are released.

good idea hang on till everyone will be clambering to book after waiting x years & prices due to supply & demand will rocket
as long as its refundable if its dosnt happen book what price you are happy with then get booked and golden rule dont look at the prices again |
