20% dining offer

Anyone heard if the offers are going to get better than this insulting deal?

I imagine once they've cleared the backlog of the people who moved their 2020 and 2021 trip then yes. The current prices are ridiculous and I won't be going back until they come down to some realistic and fair value level.

I doubt it. They'll only do offers if they need to boost their numbers.

DLP prices rarely come down, particularly since Disney bought them out fully, and the good old '4 nights for 2' offer has disappeared completed.

That said, annual passes are the way to go. We bought ours in September 2019 and paid £200 for 3 nights in the Ibis, right opposite Val d'Europe RER station. Took us less than 15 minutes from room to park.

We're using them again (extended because 2020...) in November and have booked Art of Marvel for 3 nights for £700. Not bad.

We'll get discount on food also.

They won't be able to attract enough people at these prices when all the hotels are open. They are getting away with it at the moment because there is reduced hotel capacity and many of those who are going are those who transferred their booking from last year.

We normally pay about £2-2.5k for 2 adults, 2 children for five nights and with food included. Prices for our usual times are now £3-3.5k and this is without food. There is no way they will get away these prices in the long-term. In fact, I will say that together with their recent changes like with fast pass they are putting a lot of people off completely. Same with Florida.

Can't disagree there. Although we have no intention of ever paying for a Premier Access pass. If staying onsite there is absolutely no need. Get to the parks before EMT, head straight to Big Thunder, then Fantasyland and then Discoveryland. Then grab a cuppa and get in line for Star Tours before it opens at 10am. Voila, pretty much all the PA rides done as walk-ons.

We saw a YouTuber (Sam4God) visit on a Sunday in August (ie busy time) to test this out. She arrived at 12:00, didn't buy any PAs, and had done every single PA ride in both parks by park close at 9pm, and only had one long wait.

Yep, I also watched that vlog. She managed to get in a leisurely lunch and didn’t exactly rush about. I think the longest wait was TOT and that was only because they were running a single shaft.

I've just booked for Feb half term and got quite a good deal, staying in Newport Bay for less than Santa Fe which we're very happy with.
