Yes, absolutely, pre clearance covers every USA flight from Dublin to a US city direct.

If you go, say Dublin-Gatwick-Orlando, then no, no pre clearance.

Dublin-chicagoo, or Philadelphia, then yes

We are flying with United airlines from Dublin to Orlando, stopping in Newark. Will our hold luggage go to Orlando, or do we have to collect it at Newark?
And what do we do at immigration in Orlando?

Luggage will go all the way through to Orlando - no picking up in Newark and you will land in Orlando as an internal flight - so no more formalities at all.

Hi Rik, sorry if I didn't make myself clear.

As per Carol above; pax departing Dublin for the US preclear (pre-flight) immigration/custom, arriving into their first US point of entry as a domestic pax. Hold luggage interlines from Dublin to ones final destination, in your instance MCO, you'll collect your luggage and tappy lappy on your way, no long MCO immigration/customs queue for you
