we're not big spenders so last time we went i think we had around $600 (the kids had their own $100 each) and we came back with money. We used our $200 gift card for paying our tips (we were on the DDP) we also got an extra $100 for going and seeing about DVC.
this year we plan on using the gift card in the same way (for Tips) and the kids have saved up their pennies and will no doubt get some spends from the grandparents again. the adults on the other hand ; we'll take around £400 to spend on things... but since we're not big spenders we've decided to upgrade our magicbands this year too (and do the MNSSHP) |

That's really good. Read your food report and found it very helpful. We are are family of 4 going in Aug and have the free qsdp. We've got $1050 and kids have their own money. We are also going for 21 nights. Going to get a Halifax clarity card too for any other purchases. Will pay off when we get home. Hoping we won't need it. Will do same and use any left over credits for gifts etc.

I usually take around $4000 for 4 for 2 weeks offsite in a villa. Never spend it all though.
This year it’s just myself and 2 kids staying in Disney with the ddp for 11 nights and then onto the hard rock for 5 nights. I’m taking $2200 the kids have $500 between them and I’ll have the $200 gift card for tips. I think this will be more than enough. Will have a credit card with me if needed. |

2 adults on site with DDP with a 1 night stay at Universal
I allow 20 to 30 a day tips so about $250 to $300 and about $200 for Universal visit that inclues uber there and back, food and drink. We spend about another $200 there abouts on cocktails lol We never spend anything on food or soft drinks, while in Disney so that's it. So about $1000 Only extra spends will be if We pop to the outlets. I will of course buy a few bits around DS and top up the Pandoras :d but that's what the $200 gift card goes towards ź

We just got back from a 10 day stay on site and 4 days on AMI. We spent about £1600 in total which included £500 for accomodation in AMI and then all our meals out on AMI. If we had just done Disney we would have spent less. Dining was all paid for so essentially it was tips, treats and souvenirs/gifts we paid for out of pocket - daughter had her hair wrapped for example one day at POR and that cost 40 odd dollars! We probably spent about £300 on tips. You can spend as much or as little as you like really it really depends on what you want out there...

We are there in July/August for two weeks, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Staying offsite. Was planning on $3000-4000. From reading this great thread it sounds like I am in the right ballpark:-)
Need to get signed up for some vouchers etc also :-) |

Last time we went we stayed 2 weeks on site with Disney dining plan and 1 week in a villa.
So excluding dining plan, car, tickets etc... we took around $1,100 per week and still ended up using our credit card in the last week. Think for two of us we spent c.$4000 on just shopping, tips, petrol and food whilst at the villa. However, it’s all subjective because my misses loves to shop, and I’m an enabler because I encourage her to buy things which make her feel pretty. |

2 adults and 2 children (3 and 18 months)
We have QSDP with 3 table service meals planned in. We are taking £2500 for souvenirs 😊 We took £1800 in 2017 when it was just us and our then 18 month old (with QSDP) and felt it wasn’t enough |
