Esta question

Sorry if this has been asked before but can I save the ESTA application form temporarily and continue filling it out later? We are party of six and wondered if it all has to be done in one go?

No, you can return to it and submit when finished.

Each one is considered individualy. Grouping them is for the purposes of paying, nothing to do with your travel party.

You could do a few and then later do the rest. We've done that in the past, done the ones we could whilst waiting for a passport to come back for somebody else, and done theirs when we got the passport.

Can't add anything really to the advice you've had already but they will all be individual stand-alone ESTAs. Five of your party's passports may expire in 2025 but if one expires next year then that one person will need a new ESTA; the other five won't.

Equally all six of you don't have to travel together in future. One or two of the group could holiday independently of the others for example.
