My friend puts cold flannels in the freezer overnight in a small plastic bag then takes them out with them in the day bags . Defrost over the day but great to cool you down on the bag of your neck ! Ice cubes in the water fans is a great idea !

And even nicer if you put a few drops of lavender oil on the wet cloths before popping them into the freeze. I live in Dubai and during the summer months this is what we do to cool the children off when they are playing sports.

And Kool-Aid pouches (like Capri sun) kept in the freezer make great ice packs for when your 11 year old son accidentally kicks your 8 year old daughter in the eye in the swimming pool... guess what happened to us today

Dd did this last August, used the flannels from the room and ice from the carts and found it the best way of keeping cool,Taking extra flannels this year and not bothering with the big bulky Disney spray fan that we keep taking back With us which we get fed up carrying round after the second day.

My monthly contract is with O2. I got a free Three PAYG sim, added an add on (which at the time was £20, I think), now it's called "All in one 25". This gives all you can eat data, 500 mins and 3000 texts. It meant I could use the internet anywhere, anytime.

I also liked Waze as people post if there's a build up of traffic, and why and even if there's police sitting at the side of the road.

I will have a look at Here maps though

I use waze at home as my satnav of choice, but in the US it is at a different level, I've spotted someone breakdown and within a minute someone has put a notification out, it seems to be popular in Florida. Also the way it rerouted my journey if the 192 was busy to use side roads was really time saving.
