Love your countdown!
We love our countdown too 😃
Booked the trip in January; was convinced the US would keep their borders closed until 2022 and we’d then be on 8 cancelled trips ☹️
When the story broke, it was a very welcome bolt from the blue!

We're 48 days to go! Unlike you we didn't have any cancellations as this was a last minute trip...I only booked in Oct as a surprise for my Partners birthday in Dec!

Do you have lots of plans?

Thank you we are going to our Villa, I suspect it will need time and money spent on it as we won't have been there for two years. We once left it for 9 months and felt it was too long.
I really want to go to AMA but that will depend on how much free time we have.

I remember enjoying a delicious lobster dinner at The Wharf in Pass-a-Grille (just past the Don Cesar hotel) - very rustic and where locals arrived by boat as well as by car. It is definitely on my list of places to eat again when I go back to St Petes Beach. I also support the recommendation for Skidders (used to love Dmitri's New York Cheesecake but that was about 20 years ago).

Plans at Christmas are to visit all the spots we love & have missed for the last 2 years, lots of relaxing and catching up with friends who we’ve gotten to know on our usual 3 trips a year to the Gulf Coast.
After our Christmas trip, we already have Easter 2022 in California, May/June 2022 in Tampa Bay & September 2022 in Tampa Bay booked!

Hope you have a fab time!

Two years is a long time - bet you can't wait to get back. Fingers crossed there won't be too much work for you to do.
