Our first Christmas without my mum😢😢
We lost her in September, one day short of a 12 week diagnosis of cancer. She would have been 89 in October and in her words “I had a good life” but we all miss her terribly. Always thought of others right until the end. Loved her to bits but now at rest with dad 💔 💔

My mum buried her on Thursday. She was 91. We all had plans for Christmas with her.

Not this year, but I lost my dear
Mum on Remembrance Day last year, but last year was such a blur that this has felt like the first Christmas without her. Like others have said, my mum was the centre of our Christmas, I have tried really hard to make today special for my boys, although to me it’s felt like a Sunday with extra food!

Sending all of you very much love, particularly MargaretMouse as I know she’s on many of our minds, but thinking of you all and raising a glass to those we’ve mentioned.

My lovely Dad, passed away on 27 November, laid to rest on 22 December. He will be missed by all our family. The pain is so raw at the moment 😢 💔 Sleep tight beautiful man.

My neighbour who’s parter had a bolt of the blue medical episode just under 2 weeks ago and very sadly didn't make it😢

I can’t imagine how she is feeling today. I did go check on her yesterday and she’s with family and friends over the weekend, so at least she has some comfort.

I’m extremely fortunate not to have lost anyone, but I’m thinking of my work colleague who’s mum has terminal cancer and this will be her last Christmas. I can’t imagine how everyone is feeling today knowing that. 😢

Really missing my dad who died of cancer on 23rd September this year after a 13 months battle.Seemed very strange and sad around the table today without him 😢.He would he been 80 on 30th December and had he been alive we would have thrown him the biggest party 😊.

Really miss my husband who died three weeks ago…it’s been a very hard day, life is so short so give your husband or wife a extra cuddle tonight…I would do anything to have one more day with my husband.

I lost a very close friend in May...only 50 yrs old. I miss her a lot. Put flowers on her grave yesterday and thinking of her husband and 2 daughters today.

Also thinking of Margaret above...life is so hard xxx
