Defiantly this (for any electric hob). The ones with a plug are lower power and for those that don't or can't easily have a hard wire. They meet a specific need, but are far from ideal.

This house had a bottled gas hob. Awful, took ages to cook even frozen peas with boiling water from the kettle. Stir frying or steaks on the cast iron griddle pan was a total non starter😭 So pleased when it went!

I can’t get on with induction at all.
I like gas and I judge things by the flame.
I also shake pans and would ruin an induction hob top

I had gas and swapped to an induction hob and would never go back. Got some good pans and have no problem shaking them. I’ve had mine 3 years now and it’s still looks good. I use hob rite to clean mine.

Thank you everyone. We eventually decided on gas, partly due to the fact that the oven we want only comes with a gas hob.

I have a Induction hob and love it.
For those of you worried about scratching it or having blue ring lines, have you thought of purchasing a oven hob protector? Best thing I bought
