It doesn't sit well with me I'm afraid. He was offered a place on a MoD flight which he declined. Obviously for reasons of humanity but did he pressurise his staff to do the same.
MoD are saying its the busiest airspace and no slots available, or time/resources to provide his plane safety. If this is true then I personally feel he's selfish to risk getting more people out for his personal crusade. |

I think if anyone was in that position and had the time, and the resources, and access to the technology to get the message across to millions of people, they’d do exactly the same. I’d urge you to watch the countless videos he has put up for about a week now explaining everything. He has also said he’s had desperate pleas of help from other Afghans that he so wishes he could help but he can’t get anymore on his allotted passenger list. It’s a horrendous situation but sometimes you just can’t do anymore than what you’re doing.

Security is also a concern. If the MoD managed to fly someone on the No fly list into Birmingham, how's Penn going to stop this?
