So how dose this work

So I need 3 test 24 hour before we go then day before we come back then 9ne when we come back here the question 😆

The one before we fly do at airport the one when we back fine I buy hand have ready at h9me no problem but the one 9n last day if I take one with me and do the test how do I get the result before I fly if it based in 5he uk or will I have to find a place in the USA.

Hi,
You don't need 3 tests the day before you fly to the US; only 1.

The PCR test you need to do within 2 days of getting back to the UK is fine to have waiting at home for you but you'll need the reference code from it with you in the US as this is needed for the Passenger Locator Form in order to board your flight home.

The test within 2 days of your flight home and to be carried out in the US; fine to take a UK test with you as long as the process for that test allows you to receive confirmation of a negative result (eg, you upload a pic of your test showing negative result and the test provider e-mails a certificate back; your location at the time of the test is irrelevant); a cert is required at check-in for all those on flights to the UK.
