New DVC member

Hi everyone, new DVC member here with a usage month of September and 50 points

Am i right that if I travel and use 1 Sep 2023 I can bank Sep 2022 points, use Sep 2023 points and borrow from 2024 points? = 150 points?

Im aware there's restrictions in place at the moment of 50% borrowed points but I can live in hope that will change

Hi that’s correct provided you meet your banking deadline for 22 points. You can only borrow half 24 as you’ve said. Use in year 23 125 points as it stands at the moment. It might change by then so if so 150. Just make sure you meet the banking deadline for 22 points. Enjoy

Correct. (the borrow would be 25 points with current restrictions)

You need to bank those September 2022 points by April 30th 2023.

You are effectively Banking your points to make them available to use, what I'm trying to say badlyis that you don't have to wait for your points they just have to be available for when you need them (We have a Jun UY but travel in Sept but start booking in Oct). I would plan around only 125 being useable, the 50% rule was intended as a short term fix but plenty of rumours that it could be around longer if not permanently
